About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become an Engineering Fitter Apprentice at H C SLINGSBY PLC. You will be involved in the general assembly and service of various types of trucks and trolleys, both powered and unpowered. Responsibilities include processing job cards, carrying out basic prototyping, using power and bench-mounted tools, performing PAT testing, and conducting investigation analysis on products. The role also requires presenting a positive image of the company and undertaking ad hoc duties as needed. This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with good IT skills, attention to detail, strong organisation and problem-solving abilities, and a capacity for teamwork and initiative. A passion for engineering and a willingness to learn are essential. Upon completion, there may be an opportunity for permanent employment.
