About the role

Trust Dental is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Dental Nurse to join their team. This role involves providing essential chairside support to dentists and dental hygienists, assisting patients during treatment, and maintaining high standards of hygiene within the dental surgery. Duties include disinfection and decontamination of instruments and the environment, working collaboratively with other dental staff, facilitating appointment bookings, and potentially covering reception duties. The apprenticeship also includes engagement in team training and development opportunities, with a clear path for career progression including registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) and potential further development within the dental sector.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grades A*-C or 9-4. Essential skills include communication, attention to detail, organization, customer care, administrative skills, team working, initiative, patience, enthusiasm, and empathy.
