About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a qualified Dental Nurse at Rodericks Quedgeley House Dental. You will gain hands-on experience supporting dentists, providing excellent patient care, and mastering essential dental procedures. The role involves setting up and cleaning surgeries, sterilizing instruments, updating patient records, and maintaining equipment. You will benefit from on-the-job training and theoretical learning through Aspiration Training, with online study and regular one-to-one sessions. Upon successful completion, you will be eligible for professional registration with the General Dental Council (GDC), opening doors to further career advancement in dental hygiene, therapy, or practice management.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, strong communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer care skills. A passion for the dental sector and a willingness to handle blood are essential. Candidates must also have or be willing to obtain a Hepatitis B vaccination and an enhanced DBS check.
