About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career. Duties include providing an excellent range of activities that ensures the child learns whilst having fun, supporting children's learning and development, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food, supporting self-help needs, and following safeguarding rules. Upon completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner with the potential for a permanent position and further career progression into roles like social work, teaching, or management. All training is completed remotely with a tutor to support you, and you will complete a Level 3 Paediatric First Aid qualification.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, plus strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, and patience.
