About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Learning Support Assistant at Paget High School. This role involves providing essential learning and care support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), assisting them in working towards their education and health care plan outcomes. You will play a crucial part in supporting pupils with building positive relationships, promoting high standards of behaviour, and assisting with the development and delivery of Education Support Plans. The position requires demonstrating an informed and efficient approach to teaching and learning, supporting the work of the teacher, and utilizing behaviour management strategies in line with school policy. A key aspect of the role is to promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons. The apprenticeship is a Level 3 qualification and will provide valuable experience in the education sector.
