About the role

Join Upton Dental Surgery for a Level 3 Dental Nursing Apprenticeship. You will receive comprehensive training and support to become a qualified dental nurse. Daily activities include assisting dentists with patient treatments, providing high levels of care, maintaining the surgery, sterilising instruments, updating patient records, and preparing equipment. This role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, organisational skills, and customer care. You must have achieved GCSEs in English and Maths at grades 4-9. A passion for the dental sector is essential, and you should not be put off by the sight of blood. A course of Hepatitis B vaccines and a clear enhanced DBS check are required. Upon successful completion, you will be eligible for professional registration with the General Dental Council (GDC). This apprenticeship offers a great opportunity for long-term employment and career progression into roles such as dental hygienist, therapist, or practice manager.
