About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an apprentice dental nurse to join a friendly practice in Worcester. The role involves providing chairside support and high-level oral healthcare to patients. You will receive ongoing support, development, and training to become a qualified dental nurse. Daily activities include assisting the dentist, patient care, setting up and cleaning the surgery, sterilizing instruments, updating patient records, maintaining equipment, preparing instruments and materials, and adhering to practice policies. Essential requirements include GCSEs in English and Maths (grades 4-9) and strong communication, attention to detail, organization, and customer care skills. A passion for the dental sector is essential, and candidates should not be deterred by the sight of blood. A course of Hepatitis B vaccines and a clear enhanced DBS are required. Upon successful completion, you will be qualified to register with the General Dental Council (GDC).

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grades 4-9. Strong communication, attention to detail, organization, and customer care skills.
