About the role

An exciting opportunity for an apprentice dental nurse to join a friendly practice in Chester. The role involves providing chairside support and high-level oral health care to patients. You will receive ongoing support, development, and training to qualify and build a successful career in dental nursing. Duties include assisting the dentist, providing patient care, setting up and cleaning the surgery, sterilising instruments, updating patient records, maintaining equipment, and preparing instruments and materials. You will learn practical skills at the practice and theory from Aspiration Training online, with regular teaching and 1-2-1 sessions. Off-the-job training will be provided during paid working hours. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded the relevant qualification to apply for professional registration as a dental nurse with the General Dental Council (GDC).

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English (4-9) and GCSE Maths (4-9). Attention to detail, organisation skills, customer care skills, initiative, and patience are essential.
