About the role

This is a 12-month, government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma apprenticeship in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds. The role involves providing essential chair-side support to dentists, including sterilizing and preparing equipment, and assisting with reception duties. You will also be involved in managing patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring patient wellbeing and a positive dental experience. The job also requires managing stock, cleaning dental areas, and supporting the wider dental team to deliver effective patient care.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Desired skills include strong communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and teamwork abilities, along with patience and a non-judgemental approach to patient care.
