About the role
Everyone Active is seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Apprentice Recreation Assistant to join their team. This 12-month apprenticeship leads to a Level 2 Leisure Team Member qualification and includes on and off-the-job training. Responsibilities include effective communication, high standards of customer service, teamwork, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safe equipment setups. The role also includes gaining the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, with potential for swimming teacher and fitness qualifications. This position requires day, evening, and weekend work, including public holidays, and is subject to an enhanced DBS check. Successful applicants will be strong swimmers and must pass a swim test during the interview process. Benefits include free membership to Everyone Active centres nationwide.
