About the role
An exciting opportunity to join Hull Colleges Partner Businesses as an Autocare Technician Apprentice. Working alongside experienced technicians in a busy, high-performing workshop, you'll develop the skills, knowledge and attitude needed to build a long-term career in the motor industry. This role involves carrying out vehicle health checks, assisting with routine servicing and maintenance, diagnosing faults, and working on various vehicle systems under supervision. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe workshop environment and supporting the team with customer service requirements. The apprenticeship offers opportunities for further training, career progression into advanced technician roles, and specialization in areas like diagnostics and electric vehicles.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 2 or above. Attention to detail, organisation skills, problem-solving skills, logical thinking, teamwork, and physical fitness are essential.
