About the role

Become a Childcare Apprentice (Level 3) at Maples Day Nursery, Winchester, with Childbase Partnership Limited. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in providing a safe and supportive learning environment for children aged 0-5. You will work with a dedicated team, interact positively with children and parents, and contribute to individual child development. Responsibilities include planning and implementing learning opportunities, completing observations, and adhering to nursery policies. You'll also manage your time effectively to meet coursework deadlines. The program includes 'off-the-job' learning, support from a dedicated childcare trainer/assessor, and mandatory group training sessions. Upon successful completion, you'll gain a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, functional skills in maths and English (if needed), and a paediatric first aid qualification. A permanent contract as a qualified Nursery Nurse is offered, with potential progression to Team Leader, Deputy Manager, and Nursery Manager roles.
