About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice to join our practice in Delph, as an AAT Level 2 Accounts and Finance Assistant. This position offers the perfect entry point into the accounting profession, combining practical, hands-on office experience with structured learning as you work towards your level 2 qualification. From day one, you will be fully supported by our experienced team. You will start by mastering the essential administrative foundations of a busy firm before progressively moving into complex accounts and tax work as your skills and confidence develop. Key duties include client onboarding, compliance checks, HMRC registrations, payroll support, software training on Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks, and bookkeeping assistance. There is potential for career progression into more technical accounts and tax work.
