About the role

The Finance Assistant supports the finance team in day-to-day accounting tasks while studying towards the Level 2 Assistant Accountant qualification with AAT. This role offers hands on experience in a dynamic fragrance business environment, helping to build a strong foundation in financial processes, reporting, and business support.

Key duties include assisting with invoice processing, expense management, accounting transactions, preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. The apprentice will contribute to month-end and year-end accounting activities, liaise with internal departments, and learn to apply accounting principles in line with AAT Level 2 studies. Effective communication with colleagues, managers, and external contacts is crucial, as is understanding business demands and delivering against high standards. The role also involves contributing to team meetings, developing stakeholder relationships, following instructions, and ensuring all deadlines are met.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above or equivalent.
