About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to start your career in accounting. The role involves essential bookkeeping tasks, preparing VAT and management accounts, and assisting with Self-Assessment and Corporation Tax returns. You will gain hands-on experience within a professional chartered accountancy firm. The successful candidate will work towards and achieve the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, with one day of study per week at Newcastle College. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong communication and IT skills. Progression opportunities may include a permanent position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English Grade B/6 or above, GCSE Maths Grade B/6 or above, AAT Accounting Level 2.
