About the role
Hunters & Co Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic AAT Apprentice Finance Assistant to join their team in Pudsey. This role involves processing finance information onto finance systems, including VAT returns and payroll. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training in payroll, company accounts, management accounting, and tax returns. Responsibilities also include processing personal tax reporting, managing client records, ensuring books and records are returned, providing administrative assistance, archiving accounts, maintaining the filing system, and using IT systems like Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks. Excellent communication and IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, are essential. A driving license and own car may be advantageous for occasional travel. This apprenticeship offers a permanent role and progression opportunities within the company.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths grades 9-4. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, number, analytical, logical, team-working skills, initiative, patience, and Excel skills.
