About the role
Gloucester Rugby is seeking a motivated Finance Assistant Apprentice to support the financial operations of the club. This role will involve processing sales and purchase ledger transactions, cash book entry, and nominal ledger postings. The apprentice will assist the Finance Team with various ad hoc duties, including using the SICON purchase invoice processing system, producing sales invoices, ensuring VAT accuracy, reconciling accounts, and supporting bank reconciliations. The role also entails compiling daily banking records, assisting with credit control, and maintaining electronic and paper records. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic sports organisation and contribute to the smooth running of its financial activities.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English (Grade 4) and GCSE Maths (Grade 4). Communication skills, Attention to detail, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Team working.
