About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to work as an Apprentice Laboratory & Facilities Assistant within the RDM Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Oxford. You will support Laboratory/Operations Managers and Facilities Teams in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of scientific and clinical research areas. Key duties include maintaining a clean and safe working environment, distributing supplies, managing chemical waste, conducting equipment maintenance and inspections, assisting with administrative records, and staying updated on relevant health and safety regulations. This role provides hands-on experience and training in laboratory practices and facilities management, with the potential to progress to a management role within higher education or industrial settings.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths, English, and Science at grade 4/C or above, plus any other subject at grade 4/C or above.
