Nursery Nurse Apprentice

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a childcare setting with children aged 0-5 and work towards an Advanced Diploma in Early Years. The role involves creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children, teaching within EYFS requirements, and supporting children with a range of activities and self-care needs. You will also communicate with team members and parents, support the development of the childcare provision, and assist in meeting Ofsted requirements. This role requires dedication, commitment, and punctuality. Successful completion can lead to developing into a Level 3 practitioner with potential for a full-time position, or progression into roles such as Room Leader, management training, or even a springboard into primary education or pediatric nursing.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths & English Grade C/4 or above, or Functional Skills Maths & English Level 2. Essential skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organization, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administration, number skills, analytical skills, logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, initiative, being non-judgmental, patience, and physical fitness.
