About the role

STAFFING LAB LTD is recruiting for a Level 2 Accounts Apprentice in Shrewsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in finance and gain valuable, hands-on experience while working towards a recognised Level 2 Accounts qualification. The apprentice will receive full training and support, working alongside an experienced accounts team and developing a broad range of skills within a busy business environment. Key responsibilities include processing invoices, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, processing payments and receipts, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with bank reconciliations, and supporting the wider accounts team with day-to-day administration. The ideal candidate will be keen to start a career in accounting, reliable, organised, IT literate, a good communicator, friendly, professional, and able to work well as part of a team. No previous accounts experience is required, as full training will be provided. The role offers on-the-job training, the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification, support and mentoring, and excellent foundations for a long-term career in accounting and finance. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30. Free parking is available. The apprenticeship is for 1 year and training is delivered by Meliorate Institute Education and Training.
