About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Construction Tutor Trainee to join Nova Training at their Birmingham (Stechford) Centre. The role involves training learners to gain high-quality vocational skills and accreditations to prepare them for the workplace. Key duties include planning individual learning, creating a supportive training environment, monitoring and assessing learner progress, and ensuring learners are involved in decision-making processes. The role also emphasizes teamwork and contributing to the development of vocational learning offers. The ideal candidate will have experience in building and carpentry, a Level 2 qualification, and a passion for teaching and supporting learners to succeed. They should possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. A full UK driving licence is also required.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English (grade 4 or above), Experience in building and carpentry with a Level 2 qualification.
