About the role
This apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and early years and wish to advance their careers. The role involves providing engaging activities that promote learning through fun, supporting children's development, planning, observations, preparing and maintaining the learning environment and resources, and assisting with food preparation. The apprentice will also support children's self-help needs and adhere to safeguarding rules. Ongoing training will include First Aid and any necessary legal or standard updates, ensuring all health and hygiene requirements are met.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or equivalent). Communication skills, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience.
