About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to kickstart a career in Project Management with Thales UK Limited. Over two years, you will gain invaluable on-the-job experience alongside academic study, working towards a Level 4 Project Manager Associate Apprenticeship standard. The role involves supporting the Thales Cyber Security Products, Digital Banking division, engaging with financial institutions to deliver secure banking and payment solutions. You will learn essential project management methodologies, including work package specification, team management, stakeholder engagement, and budget management. The apprenticeship is delivered through a virtual model combining live workshops, 1-2-1 coaching, and self-directed learning. Upon successful completion, you will transition into the Thales UK Bid and Project Management job family. This role requires candidates to be motivated, self-disciplined, and possess a genuine interest in project planning and controls. Due to the nature of Thales' work, all candidates must meet stringent security requirements, including being a British citizen from birth and undergoing government security checks.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English Language at grade 4 or above, and A Level in any subject at Grade C or above. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential.
