About the role

You will gain comprehensive training from City & Guilds while working within a dental practice. Your responsibilities will include assisting dentists during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment by preparing and sterilizing equipment, handling reception duties, and ensuring a positive patient experience. This role demands excellent chairside support, adherence to high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance. Key duties involve welcoming patients, managing appointments, responding to enquiries, preparing surgeries, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining infection control. You will also assist clinicians, update patient records accurately, support patient comfort, manage stock, and ensure clinical areas are clean and safe. Collaboration with the dental team is essential for delivering safe and high-quality care. Upon successful completion, there is potential for a full-time role.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above. Desired administrative, analytical, attention to detail, customer care, IT, organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
