About the role

Apprentice Early Years Educator required at Twinkle Totz Day Nursery. This role involves working closely with children aged 0-5 years old, looking after their daily needs such as feeding, nappy changing, and toileting. You will work as part of a team to deliver and meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage for all children. Key responsibilities include planning and supporting age-appropriate play opportunities, ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of children, acting as a key person to allocated children and their families, and observing, assessing, and recording children's learning and development progress. You will provide an enabling environment, build positive relationships with parents/carers, and adhere to the setting's policies and procedures. The role also requires maintaining confidentiality, attending team meetings, and ensuring health and safety standards are met. Further duties include attending additional training and liaising with external agencies. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain a Level 3 qualification and there is a possibility of a full-time role upon successful completion.

Entry requirements

  • Previous experience of working with children and ideally Childcare Level 2 qualification. Creative, non-judgemental, patient, good teamwork, and communication skills.
