About the role

Apprentice Early Years Educator required at Twinkle Totz Day Nursery. This role offers the opportunity to gain a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education. Responsibilities include working closely with children aged 0-5 years, supporting their daily needs, and contributing to the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. The role involves planning and providing age-appropriate play opportunities, ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of children, and acting as a key person for allocated children and their families. Successful candidates will observe, assess, and record children's learning and development, provide an enabling environment, and build positive relationships with parents/carers. Adherence to setting policies, procedures, and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and hygiene are essential. The apprenticeship also includes attending team meetings and additional training as required, and liaising with external agencies when necessary. There is potential for full-time employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Entry requirements

• Previous experience of working with children and ideally have the Childcare Level 2 qualification.
