About the role

Hillside House Nursery Hook-A-Gate is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice with a genuine passion for working with children and a desire to complete a Level 3 Early Years qualification. As a Nursery Apprentice, you will work as part of a friendly and supportive team, playing an active role in children's learning and development. Key responsibilities include acting as a key person for a group of children, supporting planning, observations, and assessments, ensuring the safeguarding, welfare, and wellbeing of all children, creating a safe and engaging learning environment, and building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes the Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator, a Paediatric First Aid qualification, and potentially Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English. Many apprentices secure employment or continue further study after completing their training.
