People Professional - Level 5

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a comprehensive development programme designed to kick-start a successful career in the People Profession. You'll gain practical, on-the-job experience and theoretical knowledge covering best professional practice, resourcing and talent planning, performance management, and employment law. The 30-month programme includes up to six placement rotations to equip you with essential skills and experience. Initial placements will focus on understanding how TfL operates and supports its colleagues. Subsequent rotations can be in specialist People Teams such as Change, Talent, Recruitment, Diversity & Inclusion, and Learning & Development. Your final placements may involve working on significant projects like organisational change and talent planning. Upon completion, you'll achieve a CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management and become a CIPD Associate Member, opening doors to various HR career paths.

Entry requirements

• A minimum of 2 GCSE's Grade A* - C or Grade 4 and above including Maths and English language. Plus 2 A-Levels in any subject at grade A* - D or equivalent. You must be at least 18 years of age by 7th September 2026.
