About the role
This Building Services Engineering Degree Apprenticeship at Transport for London (TfL) offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in designing, installing, commissioning, and maintaining essential Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) assets within TfL's vast infrastructure. You will work on a variety of assets, including lighting, low voltage systems, domestic water, heating, air conditioning, and ventilation, across diverse locations such as tube and rail stations, depots, control centres, road lighting, and tunnels. This hybrid role balances office and home working, offering a 50% split over a four-week period. Upon successful completion, you can progress to a Band 2 Engineer position and potentially develop into a technical discipline expert, Senior Project Engineer, or even a Senior Manager, with TfL's Director of Engineering and Major Projects Director having started their careers as apprentices.
