About the role
This apprenticeship offers a 2-year development program in Procurement and Commercial at Transport for London (TfL). You will gain hands-on experience in managing contractual requirements with a vast network of suppliers, overseeing a significant annual spend. The program involves up to four placement rotations, starting with basic procurement tasks and progressing to running tenders, processing payments, managing contracts, and engaging with stakeholders. Upon completion, you will have a comprehensive understanding of commercial thinking and strategies, with potential career progression into roles like Commercial Officer or Assistant Commercial Manager. Successfully completing the Level 4 Diploma makes you eligible for membership with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
Entry requirements
- A minimum of 2 GCSE's (or equivalent) Grade 4 (C) and above including Maths and English. Hold or be working towards 2 A-Levels in any subject at grade A*-D or equivalent. You must be 18 years old by 7 September 2026 to be eligible for this scheme.
