About the role
Bluebird Care Southampton & Totton is seeking a compassionate individual to join their team as an Adult Care Apprentice. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to study towards an Adult Care Worker (Level 2) qualification while providing essential support to elderly and vulnerable individuals in their own homes. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, providing companionship, ensuring effective communication, problem-solving, understanding nutrition and hydration standards, safeguarding practices, medication administration, and managing challenging situations. The role also involves teamwork and lone working. Upon successful completion, there is potential for a full-time role.
Entry requirements
- Essential: Driver's Licence. Desired: Health and Social Care qualification. Key skills include Attention to Detail, Organisational Skills, and Communication Skills.
