About the role

Join the Royal Navy as a Warfare Specialist (Submariner) Data Technician Apprentice. You will become an integral part of the Ship's Company and a proud representative of the Submarine Service, operating tactical systems and assisting in all aspects of submarine warfare. On the surface, you'll act as the Radar operator and be trained in the use of weaponry to protect the submarine and its crew. Using advanced equipment, you will identify and track contacts, passing vital information to the Warfare Officer. Your work will be crucial to the navigation and warfare capabilities of the submarine, contributing to the nation's nuclear deterrent and other critical operations. Entry requirements

  • GCSE Math and English: GCSE Level C/4 (Desired). Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, presentation, number, analytical, logical, and team-working skills. Initiative, patience, and a non-judgemental attitude are also valued.
