About the role
Our Project Controls team is responsible for monitoring and systematically analysing progress and performance data on a variety of projects and new initiatives. As a Project Controls Apprentice at Transport for London (TfL), you will contribute to driving efficiency and ensuring value for money delivery across capital investment projects, asset maintenance, and operations. You will gain hands-on experience working with industry-leading professionals and teams managing the supply chain. This apprenticeship will equip you with a range of transferable skills in estimating, planning, scheduling, and cost engineering, preparing you for a dynamic and rewarding career in project controls. Upon successful completion, opportunities for roll-off into various controls roles and further senior positions within TfL are available.
Entry requirements
- A minimum of 2 GCSE's (or equivalent) Grade A*-C or Grade 4 and above including Maths and English language. Not eligible if currently holding or working towards a qualification at the same or higher level in a related subject. Must be 16 years of age by September 2026. Offer subject to satisfactory medical, which may include drug and alcohol screening, eye test, and hearing test.
