About the role

This is a 12-month government-funded apprenticeship leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds. As an apprentice dental nurse, you will gain hands-on experience in a dental practice, assisting dentists during procedures, sterilizing and preparing equipment, managing reception duties, and contributing to a positive patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing efficient chair-side support, maintaining patient records, ensuring the cleanliness of dental areas, and managing stock. Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and team working skills are essential. Patience and a non-judgemental approach are also important.
