About the role
The Enterprise Learning Alliance is seeking a dedicated apprentice to support students in Key Stage 3/4 who are at risk of exclusion. The apprentice will gain hands-on experience in providing learning and pastoral support, assisting with curriculum delivery, and helping to manage student behavior. Key duties include supporting disaffected students, assisting in the production of educational reports, and contributing to the development of an alternative curriculum focused on self-esteem, anger management, and emotional literacy. The role also involves assisting with reintegration packages for excluded pupils and preventative work with vulnerable students. The apprentice will work within KCC's Equal Opportunities and Health and Safety policies.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4-9 (A*-C) required. Essential skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, numeracy, teamwork, and initiative.
