About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a childcare setting with children aged 0-5, working towards an Advanced Diploma in Early Years. The 14-month program requires dedication, commitment, and punctuality. Duties include supporting the development of childcare provision, providing engaging activities, assisting with Ofsted requirements, being a team player, and creating a fun, safe environment. You will also support children's learning and development, meet their self-help needs, and communicate effectively with colleagues and parents. Essential requirements include GCSE Maths & English at grade C/4 or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths & English. Key skills needed are strong communication, IT proficiency, attention to detail, organization, customer care, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, initiative, patience, and physical fitness. Online training is required for the first 8 weeks, necessitating a laptop or PC. Upon completion, there are prospects for career progression to Level 3 practitioner, Room Leader, or further management training, with potential for a full-time position.
