Pre-School Apprentice

About the role

We are seeking a motivated apprentice to join our dedicated team at All Saints Pre-School Playgroup. You will work alongside qualified staff to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating educational environment for children aged 2-5. Your duties will include supporting the delivery of a play-based curriculum, ensuring the preschool meets Ofsted requirements, and assisting in the planning of activities that promote individual child development. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in early years education, develop essential childcare skills, and contribute to a child-led learning environment. The apprenticeship includes a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, Paediatric First Aid, and potential Functional Skills in English and maths. Upon successful completion, there is potential for full-time employment.

Entry requirements

• GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above (or predicted), and a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (Pass). Strong communication skills, attention to detail, teamwork, patience, and a willingness to learn are also essential.
