About the role
This apprenticeship is for an Early Years Educator at Tom Thumb Nursery in London. You will work towards an Advanced Diploma Early Years Educator Level 3, supporting children aged 0-5 years in a nursery setting. Duties include creating a fun and safe environment, engaging children in activities, supporting their self-care needs, and communicating with colleagues and parents. The apprenticeship lasts for 14 months, with a blend of on-the-job training and weekly online learning for the first 8 weeks. Upon successful completion, there is potential for career progression to Level 3 practitioner, room leader, or further management training. Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths & English C/4 or above, or Functional Skills Maths & English Level 2 Pass. Organisation, customer care, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, initiative, patience, and being non-judgemental are essential skills.
