About the role

NL COMMERCIALS MANAGEMENT LTD is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic to join their team in Leeds. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of light commercial vehicles. Duties will include vehicle servicing, replacing brake pads/discs, replacing tyres, general vehicle maintenance, and progressing to more complex tasks like timing belts and turbos. The role also involves maintaining workplace cleanliness. This is a Level 2 apprenticeship with a duration of 2 years and 9 months, offering a pathway to a Level 3 apprenticeship upon completion. Training will be provided by LUMINATE EDUCATION GROUP, with one day per week at Leeds City College.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above. Desired skills include communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, logical thinking, teamwork, initiative, and patience.
