About the role

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to become a Roadside Automotive Technician with RAC MOTORING SERVICES. You will gain hands-on experience attending real-life breakdown situations and providing mobile mechanic services. Responsibilities include performing diagnostics, carrying out repairs, and communicating effectively with members. The role involves completing services and repairs at customers' homes or workplaces, providing a diverse range of experiences. You will be provided with a fully equipped, state-of-the-art company vehicle and tool kit to support your success and growth. Upon qualification, you will have access to ongoing support and career progression opportunities within a large national company. The apprenticeship leads to a Level 2 Autocare Technician Apprenticeship qualification.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4 or above), Full UK Driving Licence (less than 3 points), strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, analytical, logical, initiative, non-judgemental, patient, and physically fit.
