You will work alongside qualified technicians on vehicle investigation, repair, and servicing, performing routine maintenance, component inspections, and replacements across various vehicle systems. The position also involves producing estimates, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to general technical duties and dealership upkeep. Progression opportunities include moving to a Light Vehicle Technician Level 3 Standard (fast-tracked at 12 months), with the potential for a permanent position upon completion. Further development can lead to becoming a fully qualified master technician and MOT tester. Upon completion, Autocare Technicians can expect an average salary of £24k-£27k, with experienced technicians earning up to £33k per year.
