About the role
Lichfield Cathedral School is seeking a hardworking Grounds Apprentice to join their Facilities team. This hands-on apprenticeship offers the opportunity to develop practical grounds maintenance skills, ensuring the school's gardens and playing fields are kept to a high standard. The apprentice will gain valuable experience and a recognised qualification while assisting with various tasks such as maintaining sports pitches, grass cutting, hedge trimming, planting, and pruning. The role also involves supporting landscape improvement projects and learning the safe use of grounds maintenance machinery. Upon successful completion, there's potential to progress to a Level 3 Horticulture Landscaping Supervisor Apprenticeship.
