About the role

An exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Vehicle Technician at Drayton Motors - BYD in Boston. This role involves learning and assisting in the diagnosis, testing, servicing, and repairing of motor vehicles. You will interpret and apply technical service data, ensure vehicles comply with safety and manufacturers' standards, and accurately complete work request forms. The apprenticeship includes gaining knowledge of manufacturer warranty procedures, managing parts and sundries, and maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment. You will attend college for coursework and examinations to achieve appropriate qualifications within the apprenticeship timeframe. Emphasis is placed on safeguarding customer vehicles, plant, and tools, and adhering to health and safety procedures. You will also learn to investigate, report, and advise on vehicle serviceability, producing electronic vehicle health checks. Progression to Level 3 Maintenance and Repair is possible.
