About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a qualified Vehicle Technician with Cox Motor Group - BYD. You will learn and assist in the diagnosis, testing, servicing, and repairing of motor vehicles, constantly improving your technical skills and knowledge. Responsibilities include interpreting service literature, ensuring vehicles comply with safety and manufacturer standards, completing work request forms accurately, and adhering to warranty procedures. You will also be responsible for accounting for parts used, maintaining workshop cleanliness for health and safety, and protecting customer vehicles and company tools. This role involves attending college for coursework and examinations to achieve the appropriate qualifications. You'll gain knowledge of vehicle serviceability, produce electronic vehicle health checks, and adhere strictly to all health and safety procedures. The apprenticeship includes potential progression to Level 3 Maintenance and Repair.
