Apprentice Healthcare Support Worker

About the role

This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to become a Healthcare Support Worker with THE TRAINING PLACE OF EXCELLENCE LIMITED, working across various settings including mental health and end-of-life care. You will play a vital role in supporting service users, assisting them with their issues and aiding their journey back to full health. Responsibilities include socialising with service users, medicine management, meal planning, shopping, and supporting them in achieving their goals and aspirations. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a difference in people's lives. The apprenticeship includes a full driving licence and access to a car as additional requirements. Upon completion, there is a clear career progression path, including a Senior Healthcare Support Worker Level 3 Apprenticeship and the possibility of full-time employment. The training will be delivered at The Training Place of Excellence one day a week, leading to a Healthcare Support worker Apprenticeship Level 2 qualification and a Persons BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Care.
