About the role

This Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship at XYRESIC LIMITED offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and a nationally recognized qualification in a respected healthcare role. As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, assisting customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure a safe and efficient service. You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, with full training and support provided. Key duties include assisting customers at the medicines counter, preparing and supplying prescriptions under supervision, handling stock, maintaining accurate records, using pharmacy systems, and upholding high standards of cleanliness, health & safety, and confidentiality. We are looking for individuals with a genuine interest in healthcare, strong communication and customer service skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. No prior pharmacy experience is necessary. The apprenticeship typically lasts 15 months and involves blended learning.
