About the role
Borrowby Nursery School is seeking a dedicated Childcare Apprentice to pursue an Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification. This role involves supporting the care, learning, and development of children aged 2-11 years within a nurturing environment. Responsibilities include engaging children in play-based activities, observing and documenting their progress, contributing to curriculum planning, and promoting a safe, inclusive, and stimulating atmosphere. The apprentice will also support children's personal development, well-being, and daily routines, while collaborating with parents, carers, and colleagues. The position requires flexibility in work patterns and ideally a driver with access to a vehicle due to the rural location. Upon successful completion of the 15-month apprenticeship, a full-time role may be offered.
