About the role
This apprenticeship is designed for individuals with prior experience in nursery or school settings who are passionate about childcare and early years education, aiming to advance their careers. The role involves providing engaging activities that promote learning and fun for children, supporting their development through planning and observation, and maintaining the nursery environment and resources. Responsibilities include preparing meals, assisting children with self-care needs, demonstrating creativity and enthusiasm, adhering to safeguarding policies, and completing necessary training such as First Aid and any updates to legal requirements and standards. Emphasis is placed on maintaining high standards of Health and Hygiene at all times.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, strong communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, creativity, initiative, a non-judgemental attitude, and patience.
