About the role

An exciting opportunity to continue your childcare career with Parenta Training, working within a supportive early years setting. Develop your knowledge and skills whilst working towards a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and supporting children aged 0-5 to learn, develop and thrive. Duties include supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework, planning and delivering engaging activities, completing observations, contributing to assessments, and supporting children's personal, social and emotional development. You will also promote positive behaviour and inclusive practice, work closely with colleagues and families, ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of children, and follow safeguarding, child protection and confidentiality procedures. Recognition and appropriate reporting of safeguarding concerns are crucial, as is contributing to a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. Successful apprentices may secure a permanent Early Years Educator position with opportunities to progress into Room Leader, Third in Charge or other senior Early Years roles.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English (Pass), GCSE Maths (Pass), Desired: GCSE Early Years Practitioner (Pass). Strong communication skills, attention to detail, customer care, problem-solving, numeracy, logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, and patience are essential.
