About the role

As a Laboratory Technician Apprentice at BIOMODAL LIMITED, you will support the daily operations of the laboratory by assisting with testing, preparing samples, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. This Level 3 apprenticeship offers a combination of on-the-job training and off-the-job learning, providing full training and support with no prior laboratory experience required. Key duties include assisting with supervised laboratory tests and experiments, preparing materials and equipment, accurately recording results, and maintaining laboratory equipment. You will also be responsible for adhering to health and safety procedures and quality standards, working effectively within a team to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy. The role requires an interest in science, good attention to detail, organizational skills, a willingness to learn, and basic IT skills. GCSEs in maths and science are desirable. This apprenticeship provides an opportunity to earn while gaining a nationally recognized qualification, develop practical skills for a career in science or laboratory work, and enjoy a supportive working and learning environment.
